Community Services
HOPE HUB Community Center furthers our mission of maximizing the potential of the people we serve. Individuals in our community often do not know where to go to get help. Through a direct-care model, HOPE HUB enables people to get the services, case management, and wrap-around services that they need to continue to make a better life for themselves and their families. HOPE HUB functions as a one-stop shop. The goal of HOPE HUB is to help people maintain human dignity and make the next step toward self-sufficiency.
Services offered through HOPE HUB:
- Housing Resources
- Homeless Diversion
- Warming and cooling center (see activation plan below)
- Centralized resources
For those facing immediate difficulties, HOPE HUB offers:
- Personal hygiene products
- Emergency clothing
- Washers and dryers
- Emergency food
- Emergency clothing
- Computer access
- Bus tokens
For Unsheltered Guests:
- Washers, Dryers and Showers are available Monday thru Thursday — 9am to 3pm
Warming Center Activation Plan
Shalom Center Hope Hub Community Resource Center is open Monday- Friday between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Our temporary inclement weather center extended hours, including overnight hours, will be implemented when:
- Sustained wind chill of -34 degrees or lower.
- Sustained temperature of -20 degrees or lower.
- Significant heavy snow accumulation of snow (based on duration, timing, and temperatures).
The Hub may decide to extend hours beyond the temperatures denoted above. Notification will be provided before and during inclement weather warnings. For additional information, please contact the HOPE HUB at 262-658-1713 Ext. 167
