Senior Food Boxes

The CSFP Senior Box Program provides a free monthly supplemental food package, including:

  • Canned Fruits
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Juice and Milk
  • Cheese
  • Canned Meat
  • Poultry or Fish
  • Peanut Butter
  • Dried Beans
  • Cereal
  • Oats/Grains
  • Rice
  • Pasta

You may qualify if you meet the following guidelines:

  • Live in Kenosha County
  • Are 60 years old or over
  • Your income is less than or equal to the CSFP guidelines

Shalom Center delivers Senior Boxes for free to many Senior Apartments in Kenosha.

  • Assisi
  • Harborside Commons
  • Lakeside Towers
  • St. Catherine’s Commons
  • Saxony Manor
  • Tuscan Villas
  • Tanglewood

Free Senior Boxes are also available for pick-up at the Shalom Center Food Pantry.

  • Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am
  • Please bring ID and a recent piece of mail

Notification from the Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency (RKCAA, Inc.) – Shalom Center participates in TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) which is a federally funded food program administered through the state of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. TEFAP helps supplement the diets of income eligible Americans, including elderly people, by providing them with emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost.
